We woke early to watch the excitement of the start of the Baja 300 race. At 7:00 a.m. the quads started lining up; then the motorcycles and the race started at 7:30 a.m. The excitement in the air was amazing! After these vehicles left, the buggies then the trucks started lining up and at 9:30 a.m. their race started. The noise is unbelievable and when you're perhaps 10 feet away from the buggies at the start, its hard to describe the feeling.
One of the things we noticed on their helmuts and vehicles, was the name and blood type of each participant . .
31 degrees this afternoon and we're laying around the pool!
